Q: How long have you been in business?
A: Since 2003. Before this business, I spent 30+ years in the corporate world.

Q: Are you bonded and insured?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you have any other specialized training?
A: Yes. I am certified in animal care and health issues. I have been trained to administer medications and injections.

Q: What are your fees?
A: Prices range from $17.00 to $25.00 for each 1/2-hour visit. Bird care may cost more. I very rarely spend less than 35 minutes at your home. Cost depends on services rendered and distance to your home. Initial introduction meeting is gratis.

Q: Do you have references?
A: Yes. They will be provided by email at the time we schedule the initial meeting.

Q: Do you have a service agreement?
A: Yes. I will bring a service agreement to the initial meeting. We will discuss, complete and sign. A copy will be provided to you.

Q: What type of information is requested on the service agreement?
A: Included, but not limited to, the following:
emergency numbers,
veterinarian name and phone number,
where food, carrier, etc., is kept,
traits/habits, and
responsibilities to home.

Q: How do I know what was done during your visit?
A: I will have a customized “Daily Log” for your pet(s). For instance, it lists dates and times of visits, what services were provided and, last but not least, there is a “Comments” section discussing how the time was spent after your pet’s needs were provided. We may play with their toys. Kitties love the laser pen I always have handy. Or, maybe I’ll just shower your pet with love. Whatever we do, it will be lots of fun!

Q: When should I provide you with my house keys?
A: During our initial visit I would like two (2) sets of keys. One would be kept on my person when I visit your home. The second set will be at my home in a locked box. If you don’t have the keys during my initial visit and I need to return to pick them up, I will need to charge for a visit.

Q: If I want you to sit for my pet(s) and I am not on a regular schedule, how much advance time do you need?
A: I request 48 hours. I realize that that may not always be possible so I try to work with you and your pet to add you to the schedule.
